| 16 December 1973 | Chile's president Allende is overthrown |
|---|
Sunday, 1:10 PM, birth of Alexandre at the Belvédère clinic of Boulogne-Billancourt.
6 pounds, 6 ounces, 19.6 inches long, he is the pride of his parents, Bernard and Hélène.
From that day onwards, I have felt free to refer to myself in the first person.
Today, I was born!
My first recollections are of extreme serenity. I am happy to be here and curious about everything that surrounds me.
| September 1978 | First test-tube baby is born, in London |
|---|
Welcome to the lion's den. It's my first day of school at Gerson, where my brothers, my father and his own brothers preceded me. I was to get out 12 years later, my French baccalaureate in hand.
| 1980 | 8-year Iran-Iraq War begins |
|---|
Long before the release of the movie, I discover that life is not a long quiet river. The world of grownups endlessly fascinates me and as I'm more and more exposed to it, it no longer looks so perfect. I'm introduced to the concepts of death, divorce, bankruptcy… I realize that the journey is not as peaceful as I once believed.
| 1981 | First woman on US Supreme Court |
|---|
Among my childhood memories, the one that stands out most is a journey to Centre and North America, with my brother Etienne and my father. 20 years later as I write these lines, visions of this period are still strikingly clear. The mysteries of the pyramids and of Inca cities, as well as the gigantism of America and the Statue of Liberty, which didn't enjoy the same reputation as it has today, amazed my young eyes.
| 1984 | Indira Ghandi Murdered |
|---|
A few months after I enter junior high school, my father dies of a heart attack. Mom, Etienne and I move out of a big house that brought us ill luck to move into an extremely cozy little apartment. For my birthday, I get my first computer, a commodore 64. I discover a new world.
| 1985 | Rainbow Warrior Sunk |
|---|
With my stepfather, Gérard, I discover new horizons - on the Atlantic front.
The ocean fascinates me. I jump into a new sport that appeals to me
even though I've never seen anyone practice it : surfing. My first
grand passion just sprang out of nowhere.
That's at that moment that I thought I'd better learn how to swim well.
| 1989 | Berlin Wall Comes Down |
|---|
Why that year rather than another, I can’t say. I spent my teenage years living for the weekend, and in anticipation of projects to come: 2 full days of spending time with my buddies : Gordon, Henry, Lumir, Désirée, Charlotte, Alban, Pouic, Amandine, Cerise... In those days, in a café, 12 of us could sit at a table for 6 and order 2 coffees for just 10 francs.
| 1991 | Dissolution of the USSR |
|---|
After much studying for my exams, I pass and obtain my French baccalaureate then enroll in Assas law school.
| 1992 |
|---|
I attend graphics studies in the atelier Met de Penninghen and I'm impassioned by the behavior and faces of my peers during nude sketch classes.
| 1993 | Confrontation in Waco |
|---|
I'm off to military service and at age 18 am commissioned Officer of the French Air Force.
I spend a year in Mont-de-Marsan as Deputy Chief Operating Officer of
the French Air Force Fighter Squadron. The army never turned me into a
war fan but into a bookworm and I gleefully devour 4 novels per week.
| March 1994 | Mandella Elected President of S. Africa |
|---|
Following an altercation while coming out of Studio A, I hover for 48 hours between life and death in a military hospital.
| September 1994 |
|---|
Discharged of military duties, I start my business studies in an IUT.
| 1995 | O.J. Simpson- "Not- Guilty" |
|---|
I meet Marie-Laure and work as a trainee at Challenger's In the Events
Department of this Marketing Communication Agency. 3 months later, I'm
promoted to Director.
At the time, I also organize "Les Soirées des Templiers" – a French
regularly-held one-night festival with themed costume parties, role
playing and set decor.
| 1996 | Taliban takes control of Afghanistan |
|---|
I'm taking part in the creation of "Templiers Productions" while mostly devising the global idea for Moët and Chandon's "Imperial Nights", Loch Dhu whisky's launch into the market place, the plan for Entrevue magazine's 5th anniversary party as well as operational strategies for Heineken.
| 1998 | Northern Ireland Peace process |
|---|
I leave for New-York City to get together with my girlfriend. To earn
my living, I work in a Greenwich Village restaurant during the daytime
while managing the Gold Bar at night. The little bit of spare time I
have is shared with my pals Seb, Valentine, Sophie and Bertrand, when
I'm not painting or writing a novel.
I set up my very first photo painting exhibition and during the inauguration each of the paintings is sold.
I come back to Paris in December.
| January 1999 | Impeachment trial of President Clinton |
|---|
Following a trip to Istanbul, I start this year as a bachelor and collaborate again with Templiers Productions. We win the Golden Award for the best Press Launch.
| March 1999 |
|---|
Rendered confident by my experience in New York, I take over the management of an ailing restaurant which I rename the Jardel's.
Supervising 150 place settings and a team of 12 workers was an enlightening but brief experience.
| September 1999 |
|---|
The Team owning the restaurant goes bankrupt. I'm thus freed again and able to enjoy casual meals with friends.
| November 1999 |
|---|
In order to put things into perspectives and set my priorities straight, I go surfing for a month in Bali and discover the charms of Indonesia.
| 2000 | Mad cow disease alarms Europe |
|---|
First Parisian painting exhibition held in St Germain's Got picture gallery.
I meet Sylvie and contemplate 2 big projects : an advertising network
and a new formula of racing car competition – which never saw the light
of day.
| 2001 |
|---|
I launch Loomedia with my associates and commercialize a brand new concept of indoor ad display. Initially inspired by Zoom Media Inc. Loomedia becomes its French partner.
| 11 September 2001 |
|---|
I'm standing in an elevator at "La Défense" when a friend announces to me the collapse of the Twin Towers. The world is in shock and is thrown into a crisis. Advertising prospects darken.
| 2003 |
|---|
I meet Charlotte and quickly realize she'll be my life's companion.
I sell my shares of Loomedia and consider a short film festival with Night Art Productions, Sébastien de C. and Edouard M.
| 28 August 2004 |
|---|
In the presence of our closest friends, we say our "I Do's" in the church of Montagnac.
I am ecstatic and radiant with happiness. We make the decision to leave
Paris and to establish Biobble s.a.r.l. to allow each and everyone to
share and spread his or her life's story and individual experiences to
future generations.
| 5 October 2005 |
|---|
And, finally…after one year working without practically going out of my house,
Biobble is already a reality. The site is open to the public and ready to welcome millions of lives…(I hope that).
| 5 October 2006 |
|---|
Biobble celebrates its first birthday. Television, radio and press have welcomed this cultural and innovative concept. It has been a year of an extraordinary job, thousands of biographies and 35,000 monthly visits. I’m happy but not satisfied because there is still a lot of job to do.

16th December 2006
I`m 33 years old, the Christ`s age? Well it's mine above all! I’m not old but I’m not young either.
I spent the last two years working seven days per week. I received a
big support of my wife because, at this moment, (as I say to everybody
who ask me) Biobble is our son.
| 28 August 2007 |
|---|
Three years of marriage? It seems as if only three days had passed for me.
Loving soirée at St Émilion. Corsica is already far away.
Biobble looks for a new team to make sure the development of its second version. Under attack! September is coming!
| 16 December 2007 |
|---|
Surprising birthday at home…34 years, but one more day. Biobble has new
shareholders, its new site is coming soon :) "What a beau cadeau", as a
friend of mine would say. I love my wife.
Well, joking apart, it`s very pleasant that investors have supported my
project, which I have carried under my arm since three years ago. I
love my wife.
| 15 March 2008 - 30 March 2008 |
|---|
After 4 years of marriage and so much job, it´s time for our honeymoon.
We travel to India. Fantastic long voyage, from the East Coast to the
West, across the South of this fantastic country.
Madras, Mamallapuram, Pondichery, Hampi, Arambol, Mumbai...
A new big love is born. We’ll go back.
It`s promised!
He'll give you his hand! I cross the dance floor of a Parisian nightclub to meet one of my female friends who is shaking it on the other side of the room, when I fall victim to an accidental trip in the leg from a guy w... |

“The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. stone crumbles. wood rots. people, well, they die. but things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.” (Chuck Palahniuk)
“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” (Larry Elder)
Finish this sentence : "I'm the one who..."
created Biobble and who needs you to confirm it was worth doing it...
What are you rather partial to / What is your "pet addiction" ?
Quietness and peace of mind...
What is the sunshine of your nights ?
Next morning... it's a new day...
If you could travel through time, which era, place or event would you like to tour ?
50 years after my death, just to have a look and make sure what I did was ok...
What has been your worst experience ?
When I couldn't help people who needed it...
