17 June 1939 World War II begins First of six born to John S. Jardel and Eleanor E. Perri in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
0votre avisJune 1949 Ireland Becomes Independent Moved to Pine Beach New Jersey into a home built by my father, his brothers and his uncles over about a two year period. The house was two blocks from the Toms River. The blue house on the corner. Everyone knew of it. A great place to grow up. The summers were full of excietment with a constant flow of visiters to enjoy the fishing, crabbing, swimming and watersking.
0votre avis18 September 1962 first American to orbit Earth Left Pine Beach to join the Army. Spent a year in Mass. training then off to Japan working for Uncle Sam. I came home on leave and married Mary Jane Lunney in August of 1964. After a long honeymoon I returned to Japan for another year.
0votre avis31 May 1965 Great Blackout Our first child. A girl, Jane Marie was born in New Jersey. I was in Japan.
0votre avisSeptember 1965 After my discharge from the Army, Mary and I took little Jane and left New Jersey for California to start a new life in the west.

0votre avis20 December 1968 Martin Luther King Assassinated Our third child is born, James Michael. Named after Mary's father and born on my father's birthday.
0votre avis10 November 1969 first walk on the Moon Our fourth child, Margaret Ann is born. By now there were six of us living in a two bedroom one bathroom house. We did some adding on and rearranging to make do.
1votre avisJanuary 1978 First test-tube baby is born, in London The six of us moved into our brand new five bedroom three bathroom home. Wow! We had so much room. Santee was an old community but scarcely populated and it was country living for awhile. Different story now but still a nice place to live.
0votre avis1999 Impeachment trial of President Clinton I retire from all those years in the forklift business. Mary retires in 2000 from her job with the San Diego Unified School District. We buy a new truck and camping trailer to see the country.
